Conor Costello   B.Eng(Mech-1st Hons), MBA

Conor is a Mechanical Engineering graduate of UCD with 35 years experience in the FMCG/Food Industry . He worked for 7 years  as a Project and Development Engineer for Nestle Ireland in their Rowntree Mackintosh plant in Inchicore. He then worked for 10 years for Unilever as Engineering Manager followed by Factory Manager in their HB Birds Eye plant in Rathfarnham. During this time he completed an MBA at DCU. He worked for 10 years as Operations Director and part owner of Batchelors Foods responsible for both  Manufacturing and Sales and Distribution. Following the sale of Batchelors to Valeo Foods   one of the largest food companies in Ireland, Conor was appointed Manufacturing Director of Valeo Foods and worked in this role for 6 years.

Conor is passionate about manufacturing, especially small to medium sized enterprises as exist in Ireland. These enterprises require quality equipment design and performance, manufacturing flexibility and continuous improvement, excellent OEE with minimum waste, robust system of management with good IT and operational support, without having the scale and resource of their large multinational competitors.

Conor has a proven track record in driving operational excellence in manufacturing and distribution. He has a technical and practical experience to make a real difference to your business.
